Your Installation Day is Almost Here
Here’s How to Get Ready for a Smooth, Stress-Free Experience
At Windows on Washington, we want your installation day to be seamless. The more prepared your home is before we arrive, the quicker and cleaner the process will be — so you can start enjoying your new windows, doors, or other improvements right away.
What to Do Before We Arrive
1. Clear the Work Area
-
Move furniture, décor, and personal belongings at least 3 feet away from each window or door being replaced.
-
Take down curtains, blinds, or wall hangings near the openings.
-
Secure loose papers and lightweight items — wind can enter during removal.
2. Provide Clear Access
-
Make sure we can easily get to your home’s entry points and driveway.
-
Move vehicles so our trucks have space for unloading and staging.
3. Protect Your Belongings
-
While we take great care, dust and debris are part of the process.
-
Cover nearby furniture if needed and remove fragile items from the workspace.
4. Prep Your Yard
-
Trim bushes or trees that block access to windows or doors.
-
Let us know about any special landscaping we should be mindful of.
